Where does our data come from?

The Digital Yard aims to be a comprehensive directory of equestrian and rural service providers across the United Kingdom. To achieve this, some listings are created using information from publicly available sources, including:

• Professional registers and regulatory bodies (e.g. the Farriers Registration Council)
• Government open data and public registers
• Publicly available business directories

These listings are marked as "Unclaimed" and contain only basic, publicly available information such as business name, general location, and professional registration details. No private or personal data beyond what is already publicly accessible is displayed.

Claiming your listing

If you find your business listed on The Digital Yard, you can claim your listing to take full control of your profile. Claiming allows you to update your details, add photos, set your service prices, manage enquiries, and more.

To claim a listing, visit your business profile on our directory and click the "Claim this Listing" button.

Requesting removal

If you would prefer your information not to appear on The Digital Yard, you have the right to request its removal. Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you can exercise your right to erasure.

To request removal, please use the form below or contact us directly at hello@thedigitalyard.co.uk. We aim to process all removal requests within 7 working days.
